Summer & Winter Programs

Instructions

1. Review suggested summer and winter program providers below. Cal Lutheran allows participation on all summer and winter options through these approved providers. Note that many winter programs overlap with Cal Lutheran's academic calendar and may not be feasible, so check program dates carefully.
2. Make an advising appointment. OEA may need to activate your selected program in our application database for you to proceed.
3. Complete the two-step application process.
   1. Apply to OEA. Search our database for the specific program and complete the linked application online. Contact OEA if you can't find the specific program you find of interest.
   2. Apply to the host program directly through its website. You must receive approval from OEA before you can complete your host application.

Costs and Aid

All Cal Lutheran summer and winter programs charge program fees directly to students. Cal Lutheran assesses only the Study Abroad Student Fee. Your out-of-pocket fees will vary depending on your program.

Financial aid can be challenging to find for summer and winter programs, as aid packages generally apply only to semester charges. The OEA Scholarship and external scholarships are great alternatives. For more details, please review program fees on our Finances page.
