Educational and technological resources are available to you at Pearson Library. Access our computers, printers, and specialized equipment to enhave your studies and research.

Printing and Scanning

• Pearson Library has 2 printers and 2 document scanners. The printers are located near the Circulation Desk, and one scanner is located near the Course Reserves and one in the Reading Room. Printing is available in black & white - for color printing services, please visit the Printing Services department. 
• We recommend being mindful when printing large quantities of pages that may jam or occupy the printers as these devices receive heavy use every day.
• Printing costs in the library are 10¢ per side and are paid through students’ GoPrint (myCLU) accounts. Cal Lutheran provides each student with $100 of GoPrint funds each academic year. Please email the ITS HelpDesk or call 805-493-3698 to add more funds to your GoPrint account.
• When printing or scanning library materials, please maintain copyright compliance and reproduction rights.

While Cal Lutheran faculty and staff can use Pearson Library printers, they are encouraged to print primarily through their department offices or lounges. Visitors to the library may use the document scanners to digitally save material, which can then be emailed to themselves or saved onto a personal USB drive.

Computer Use

• The library has over 60 computer stations, both Macs and PCs, for students, staff, and faculty to use. We recommend having a USB flash drive for transferring files from personal devices to library devices.
• Any questions about the hardware or software avilable on the computers can be directed to the ITS Help Desk.

All computers, technology, and equipment in Pearson Library are managed by the Cal Lutheran ITS department. As such, the library follows their Computer and Network Use guidelines.
