"Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants"

Robin Wall Kimmerer is a mother, scientist, professor, MacArthur Fellow, enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and author of Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants.
Her lecture will explore the dominant themes of Braiding Sweetgrass, which include cultivation of a reciprocal relationship with the living world. Listeners will be invited to consider what we might learn if we understood plants as our teachers.
