Mission
The Student Philanthropy Council’s mission is to instill a greater appreciation for the philanthropic spirit throughout the Cal Lutheran Community, implement the importance in giving back, and to enhance and improve the future of this university.
About Student Philanthropy Council:
The Student Philanthropy Council (SPC) is comprised of students who want to make a difference at Cal Lutheran. Our primary goal is to educate the student body on the importance of giving back to Cal Lutheran, both as students and as alumni. We acknowledge that students are internal stakeholders, and we encourage each student to place an annual vote of confidence in the university through their participation in the Student Giving and Senior Giving campaigns. Members of our council play a crucial role in creating a culture of philanthropy on campus through giving campaigns and events held throughout the academic year.
