Getting to Campus
Arriving in the U.S.
Follow the signs to customs and show them your passport, your I-20, a print out of your class schedule and the acceptance letter provided to you by International Admission. Sometimes Border Officials will ask to see your luggage after you've shown your passport and I-20. Remember to be patient and polite.
Once you are through Customs and have your luggage, call the shuttle company (if applicable) and have your reservation information handy. The shuttle will pick you up under the green sign that says "Long Distance Vans".
Getting to campus
If you're coming to campus with a shuttle, ask to be dropped off in the main parking lot on the south side of Olsen Road, by the Welcome Center/ Campus Security. When you arrive on campus, please begin at the Campus Safety office and obtain your student ID. if you order your ID Card before arriving on campus by following the order process provided here.
Access the Residence Life check-in information to make sure you are aware of the move-in dates and process. You may check into your Residence Hall Monday through Thursday, one week prior school starts. The Residence Life office, located in Mountclef Hall, is open from 9:00am until 5:00pm.
If you cannot make it to campus between 9:00am and 5:00pm, you will need to check into a hotel. From your hotel you may take a taxi, Lyft, or Uber to campus.
If you are living off-campus
Make sure to discuss all move-in dates and details with the rental agency or appartment owner prior your arrival.
