Download Options
There are two options for the logos on this page depending on your intended use:
Use in a design or layout
The first set of files will provide flexibility for positioning the logo within an overall graphic design or a fixed layout.
They don't include clear space around the logo or a background color.
Upload directly to the web
The second set of files are for uploading to the web in places you may not be able to control the amount of space around the image.
They have a reduced file size with clear space and background color built in.

Logo Use Permissions
These logos are available for your use in communications and marketing on behalf of the university. Please review all logo use guidelines before downloading any files.
All materials that include a logo should be reviewed by Marketing and Communications before production or distribution. Please contact branding@CalLutheran.edu for a design review.
For additional restrictions logo use for swag items and merchandise, please review the licensing guidelines.
Downloads for Print & Design Use
These files are intended for designing print layouts and have a higher resolution (and file size) than the web-ready logos below.
Before using these logos, please refer to the Position & Spacing guidelines and Practices to Avoid reference.
There are two file types available:
- PNG files are raster artwork in the RGB color space and can be used for designs intended to display on screens (e.g., PowerPoint presentations and email) and casual printing. Most have a transparent background so that you can lay them over a solid background color (e.g., in an email header).
- PDF files are vector artwork in the CMYK color space, and should be used for high-resolution print applications (e.g., brochures and signs) and branded merchandise or promotional items.
Additional file types (AI, EPS and JPG) and color spaces (e.g., Spot) are available if needed. Please email branding@CalLutheran.edu with your request.

Download Files for Web & Social Media Use
The following files can be added to webpages and social media without additional editing,
as they have padding or clear space built in to comply with Position & Spacing guidelines.
These files are low resolution! Please do not use them when ordering merchandise or designing for print. All files
are in the RGB color space.
