Hobbies/Interests: Watching sunsets, hiking, trying new coffee shops, and traveling. Campus Involvement:University Honors Program Scholar, Pre-Law Vice President, Women In Law President, Languages and Cultures Club Secretary, Grant Student Assistant Future Plans: As a first-generation college student, Ayxa is deeply motivated to achieve significant milestones and make a meaningful impact in her community. Her personal experiences have instilled in her a strong sense of resilience and determination, driving my desire to break down barriers for future generations. She aims to integrate these experiences with her professional objectives to create a positive and lasting impact on society. |
Spanish Program: Gabriel Palafox '27
Gabriel Palafox is a third-year student at Cal Lutheran, double majoring in Political Science and Spanish. He will be graduating in 2027. Feel free to connect with him at any time!
Hobbies/Interests: Gabriel enjoys music, attending concerts, playing & following sports, and reading in his free time. Campus Involvement: Member of the Pre-Law Society, Vice President of the Languages and Cultures Club, and intern for the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office. Future Plans: After graduation, Gabriel plans to continue his research by writing for publication and attend law school to pursue a career as an attorney. He is especially interested in contributing to the community through advocacy, scholarship, and public service. |
Spanish Program: Abegail Holmer
Abegail Holmer is a third year student double majoring in Psychology and Spanish, and minoring in Philosophy. She will be graduating in May 2027. She loves to chat and is always happy to help–reach out!
Hobbies/Interests: Abey spends her free time crafting, camping, and watching movies. She is also always listening to music, and especially likes rock, reggae, soul, folk, and any combination of that! Campus Involvement: University Honors Program Scholar, Psi Chi President, IRC Treasurer, Psychology Department Assistant, and seasonal Production Stage Manager Future Plans: Post undergraduate, Abegail plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology and hopes to find a program that will integrate her Spanish as well. Regardless of the path she takes, Abey hopes to remain in academia as she loves to learn and wants to be a mentor for others in their academic journey. |
