2023

the 2023 Morning Glory, CLU's literary magazine, was selected to receive the rank of Superior in the 2023 NCTE Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines (REALM) program. The REALM program is designed to encourage all schools to develop literary magazines that celebrate the art and craft of writing.

The NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) works with students and teachers to offer journals, publications, and resources; to further the voice and expertise of educators as advocates for their students at the local and federal levels; and to share lesson ideas, research, and teaching strategies through its Annual Convention and other professional learning events.

2010

Morning Glory, CLU's literary magazine, was again named a finalist in the competition for the prestigious ACP National Pacemaker award! This is the second consecutive year Morning Glory has achieved the honor, setting an unprecedented record for the magazine, which previously won a Pacemaker Award in 1982. The Pacemaker Winner Awards and Finalist Awards are awarded in a nationwide competition that recognizes higher education's outstanding journalism and literary accomplishments. These coveted and prestigious honors have been compared to the Pulitzer Prizes in the professional writing world.

Morning Glory, CLU's literary magazine, has been a consistent recipient of the Associated Collegiate Press's (ACP's) ALL AMERICAN AWARD for over 40 years.

2009
