In keeping with Cal Lutheran's mission to educate leaders rooted in service and justice, our Service & Leadership office creates opportunities that lie at the intersection between student interests and service. We strive to empower students to make a difference in their community.

Alternative Spring Break
Spend spring break in another part of the world! Learn about other cultures, current social and global issues, and provide service to a community that will last beyond our time there.
Our trips offer hands-on service, time for reflection and discussion, and cultural exploration. Our goal is to serve in the way that the community needs us, rather than imposing what we think the community needs.
Service: Part of Our Mission
As part of New Student Orientation, you'll spend an afternoon with other new students heading out into the community to make a difference.
This experience demonstrates how we live out our mission to education leaders committed to service and justice, and will give you an opportunity to establish new friendships while doing something good.
