About
Michael Uguccioni has been teaching Visual Effects, Animation & Motion Graphics at California Lutheran University since the fall of 2009. Throughout his term, he’s trained a diverse group of talented students in the Visual Arts that are currently working in the field of multimedia.
Uguccioni's career is vast with over twenty years of experience in the feature film and television industry. His most recent vfx work appeared in the film “Minari” which won the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Michaels work can also be seen in several academy award nominated films.

- Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007), The Passion of the Christ (2004),
- The Last Samurai (2003) and Armageddon (1998).
In addition, Michael is a lecturer at Chapman University in the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Mike resides in Thousand Oaks, California where he oversees the Visual Effects at Secret Weapon VFX. When he's not working you'll probably find him snowboarding, surfing or on the Moto. 😎
