About

Dr. Ilie is the program director for the Master of Science in Information Technology program at California Lutheran University. She holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Ilie has consulted with several large hospitals working with C-level executives in formulation of IT-based strategies for complex electronic health record systems implementations. Currently, Dr. Ilie's research interests are in the area of IT implementations in healthcare organizations, including user engagement with IT solutions, interface design and system usability. Her work has appeared in top journals such as MIS Quarterly, Decision Sciences, European Journal of Information Systems, Database, and International Journal of Health Information Systems and Informatics. She received various best paper awards and nominations from prestigious national and international conferences. Dr. Ilie has also taught at the University of Kansas, Florida State University, Claremont Graduate University and California State University Fullerton.
