About

As Program Director for the new Hospitality and Tourism major within the School of management (Fall 2018), Stefan will contribute to managing the program, driving enrollment, engaging hospitality industry partners in the curriculum, and driving student outcomes.

Stefan has worked for over 12 years in the hospitality industry primarily working in marketing, program management, and marketing logistic roles. First at Walt Disney World Florida contributing to various marketing initiatives including the Annual Pass Program, brand and segment management, and theme park marketing cost accounting.  After graduate school Stefan supported marketing and sales efforts for Walgreens Health Initiatives (PBM) and then Wyndham Vacation Resorts serving as a director of marketing. Early hospitality or service roles included frontline food & beverage operations and retail management.

Education

Stefan received his Doctorate in Hospitality Administration from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), an MBA from Rollins College (Crummer School of Business) and Bachelors from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (UMass).
