About
Robert L. Beilin, Ph.D., MFT is a clinical supervisor at the CLU Community Counseling Centers, and has taught at the Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Oxnard campuses in the Graduate School of Psychology. He has been director of a regional forensic mental health program and of the Ventura County Superior Court’s family mediation and investigation unit, in addition to teaching at several Southern California universities and colleges. He is a private practice family therapist and mediator in Ventura, and frequently provides expert testimony in Family Law Mental Health and forensic mental health court cases. He especially enjoys supervising trainees and associates at Cal Lutheran, training the next generation of mental health practioners. He is an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor. Dr. Beilin also served as the Founding Director of the CLU Family Mediation Program, and taught group therapy, law and ethics, and the Family Mediation Specialization.
