About

John McCullough is a Music Supervisor and Consultant for films, TV and major advertising campaigns that include Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe award winners. 

Recent projects include documentaries "Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind", "Rolling Stone: Stories From The Edge", "Sinatra: All Or Nothing At All", "Going Clear: Scientology And The Prison Of Belief" and “Steve Jobs: The Man In The Machine”.   Other past projects include "That '70s Show", "Party Of Five", "Dawson's Creek", "Joan Of Arcadia", "3rd Rock From The Sun", "Northern Exposure", "The Wonder Years", the Martin Scorsese PBS mini-series "The Blues", IMAX "Hubble 3D" & "Under The Sea 3D", "Enron: The Smartest Guys In The Room", "Gonzo: The Life & Work Of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson", "Taxi To The Dark Side", "Magic Trip" and “The House I Live In”. 

John was Executive Producer of the "Dawson's Creek", "That '70s Show" "Magic Trip" and "Enron: The Smartest Guys In The Room" soundtrack releases.

Also, he is owner of the music company NextHits which includes music publishing companies with ASCAP, BMI and SESAC.

John holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Syracuse University and a Master of Music degree from the University of Southern California.  He took additional studies at University of Hartford–Hartt College of Music, California Institute of the Arts and the University of Toronto.
