About
Gina was licensed as an MFT after recieving her master's degree from California State University, Northridge and her bachlor's degree from Univsristy of California, Santa Barbara. She is the Founder/Clinicial Director of Family Resiliency Counseling Center, providing individual and group counseling for children, adolescents, adults and families. She has enjoyed her past work wtih Cancer Support Centers and Camarillo Hospice and Bereavement Center, facilitaing groups for children and women. She was the Program Director of Family Harnomy Parenting Program for the Coalition to End Family Vioence. She also holds a California Early Childhood Mentor Permit.
Education
Gina recieved her B.A. from Univeristy of California, Santa Barbara in Sociology and master's dregreee from California State University, Northridge in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in matrrage and family therapy. She currrently has earned certification in EMDR through EMDRIA.
Expertise
She is an EMDRIA certified practioner and attents monthly advanced supervion in EMDR and somatic psychology. With EMDR therapy, she bas been successful in helping children, adolescents and adults understand and reprocess thier traumatic life events.
