DEIJB Seed Money Initiative
Announcing our New DEIJB Seed Money Initiative
In reflection of our Mission and as part of our commitment to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging (DEIJB) at Cal Lutheran, we are updating our funding support opportunities. Under our new shared-equity leadership structure, we will be sunsetting the DEIJB Mini-Grants and introducing the DEIJB Seed Money Initiative.
This new initiative offers faculty and staff a $200 award to support DEIJB projects, speakers, and programs that enhance student engagement and foster an inclusive campus culture. Funded projects will be highlighted on the University's DEIJB Events page, showcasing the breadth of our collective DEIJB efforts.
How to Apply for the $200 Seed Money:
- Submit your DEIJB project or event to either:
- Calendar of Events: Arts, Lectures, and Gatherings (for community-wide events)
- The Hub (for student-centered events)
- Once your event is accepted, please send proof of acceptance to the DEIJB team at Cal Lutheran (DEIJB@callutheran.edu or AngelR@callutheran.edu).
We thank you for your dedication to enriching our campus with the most diverse, representative, and interdepartmental DEIJB offerings in Cal Lutheran’s history. Together, let’s continue to build a community where everyone feels they belong.
